The Funakoshi Shotokan Karate-Do (FSKD) is located at 2721
Kaaipu Ave. in Manoa Valley in Honolulu on the island of
Oahu, State of Hawaii. The chief instructor is Sensei
Eric Marn, a 7th degree black belt. Sensei Marn holds black
belt rankings in Tang Soo Do (Korean Karate), Moo Duk Kwan,
and Kodenkan Judo, and is a Guru in the Kali/Escrima. He has
taught Shotokan Karate and Kali/Escrima seminars in the U.S, U.K., Ireland, Cuba, Panama, Germany, Colombia, Nassau, Canada and Poland.
FSKD is dedicated to the perpetuation and
proliferation of traditional Shotokan Karate. The
development of character and perseverance are key traits
which FSKD strives to instill in its students. Many of FSKD
students have become excellent students and leaders in their
communities.
